If you bring the bag of chips/bucket of holiday cookies with you to the couch, you may end up subconsciously devouring the whole thing (500-1000cal) while watching TV. To prevent this pour your snack in a SMALL bowl & leave the rest in the kitchen. Once the bowl is done, you're done.
