Most people think that if they're sore after exercise that means what they did worked. Being sore after exercise is a bad thing! Soreness is lactic acid that has built up in your muscles. This acid buildup is slowing down how quickly your muscles recover & regenerate, and since the more lean muscle tis.sue you have the more calories you will burn a day, slowing down that process is a bad thing.
